By accessing or using Hilanaw, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Hilanaw, incorporated under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use Hilanaw. By registering, you confirm that you are 16 years of age or older. If you are under 16, you may not use this platform under any circumstances.

If you are using Hilanaw on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3. Nature of the Service

3.1 Educational Guidance Only

Hilanaw provides AI-generated mentorship, structured learning modules, assessments, and guidance designed to support entrepreneurship education. All content, responses, and recommendations generated by Hilanaw are for educational and informational purposes only.

Hilanaw is not a substitute for professional business, financial, legal, or psychological advice. We strongly recommend consulting qualified professionals before making significant business or financial decisions. Hilanaw accepts no responsibility for decisions you make based on content generated by our platform.

3.2 AI-Generated Content

Hilanaw uses artificial intelligence to generate responses and guidance. AI-generated content may occasionally be incomplete, inaccurate, or not suitable for your specific circumstances. You are solely responsible for how you use or apply any information you receive through the platform.

3.3 No Guarantee of Outcomes

Completing modules, earning certificates, or following guidance provided by Hilanaw does not guarantee any specific business outcome, financial result, employment opportunity, or success. Entrepreneurship involves inherent risk, and Hilanaw cannot and does not guarantee any particular results.

4. Account Registration

To use Hilanaw, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us immediately at help@hilanaw.com if you become aware of any unauthorised access to your account. Hilanaw is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Free Message Limit

Hilanaw provides a daily free message limit to all registered users. Once this limit is reached, access to AI mentorship features is paused until the following day. Users who wish to continue beyond the daily limit may purchase a subscription.

5.2 Subscription Plans

Hilanaw offers monthly and yearly subscription plans that provide enhanced access to the platform. Subscription details, pricing, and features are displayed on our pricing page at hilanaw.com. Prices may change from time to time and will be communicated in advance.

5.3 Payment

All payments are processed securely through our designated payment providers. By purchasing a subscription, you authorise Hilanaw to charge the applicable fees using your selected payment method. Subscriptions are not automatically renewed unless you explicitly choose to renew.

5.4 No Refund Policy

All payments made to Hilanaw are final and non-refundable. Because platform access and AI mentorship services are made available immediately upon purchase, we do not offer refunds for subscription fees under any circumstances, including but not limited to partial use, change of mind, or dissatisfaction with AI-generated content. Please review your subscription selection carefully before completing your purchase.

6. Business Grant Programme

6.1 Overview

Hilanaw Business Grant Programme is designed to provide financial support to users who have demonstrated commitment to their entrepreneurship journey through the Hilanaw curriculum.

6.2 Eligibility

Participation in the Grant Programme, when available, will be subject to eligibility criteria including but not limited to:

1. Successful completion of specified Hilanaw learning modules and earning of the relevant certificates
2. Submission of a qualifying business plan or business activity demonstrating application of learned skills
3. Compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements
4. Satisfaction of any additional criteria published by Hilanaw at the time of the Grant Programme launch

Earning a Hilanaw certificate while it is a criteria, does not guarantee eligibility for or receipt of a grant. All grant decisions are made at the sole discretion of Hilanaw.

6.3 No Legal Entitlement

Nothing in these Terms or on the Hilanaw platform creates a legal entitlement to any grant payment. The Grant Programme is subject to available funding, regulatory compliance, and Hilanaw’s operational decisions. Hilanaw reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Grant Programme at any time without prior notice.

6.4 Tax and Legal Compliance

Grant recipients are solely responsible for any tax obligations arising from the receipt of grant funds under the applicable laws of their jurisdiction. Hilanaw will not be responsible for any tax, levy, or obligation arising from grant payments.

7. Acceptable Use

By using Hilanaw, you agree that you will not:

1. Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information to the platform or to Hilanaw
2. Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, scrape, or extract content from the platform
3. Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
4. Upload or transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
5. Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its systems
6. Use the platform to harass, intimidate, or harm other users
7. Share your account credentials with any third party

Hilanaw reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action against any user who violates these provisions, including immediate account suspension or termination.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, curriculum, frameworks, software, trademarks, and materials on the Hilanaw platform are the exclusive intellectual property of Hilanaw or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership right or licence over our intellectual property.

You retain ownership of the personal information, business ideas, and content that you submit to the platform. By submitting content, you grant Hilanaw a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use such content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the platform and its AI capabilities.

9. Certificates

Hilanaw certificates are awarded upon successful completion of designated learning modules and phases as determined by the platform. Certificates are digital credentials that recognise your learning progress within the Hilanaw curriculum.

Hilanaw certificates are not accredited academic qualifications and should not be represented as such. They are proprietary recognition of completion within the Hilanaw platform only.

10. Termination

Hilanaw reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct that we determine to be harmful to the platform or its users.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at help@hilanaw.com. Termination of your account does not entitle you to a refund of any subscription fees paid.

11. Disclaimers

The Hilanaw platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hilanaw disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Hilanaw does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific situation.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Nigerian law, Hilanaw and its directors, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to Hilanaw in the three months preceding the claim.

13. Changes to These Terms

Hilanaw reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting an update on the platform or by sending a notification to your registered email address. Your continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act of Nigeria.
